Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your HouseMe.AI account and the data associated with it. It applies to accounts created in the HouseMe.AI mobile app (iOS and Android) and on the HouseMe.ai website — they are the same account.

How to request deletion

There are two ways, and either one is enough:

• In the app: open Profile > Delete Account and confirm.
• By email: write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account".

You can also use the form at the bottom of this page. You do not need to be signed in, and you do not need the app installed.

What gets deleted

When we act on your request we delete:

• Your account and profile information (name, email address, profile photo, sign-in identifiers)
• Your saved homes and favorites lists
• Your search history, filters and saved searches
• Your Paige chat history (the conversations you had with our AI assistant)
• Lead submissions and viewing or contact requests you sent through the Service
• Your phone number, your SMS consent record, and the messages exchanged with that number

Deleting your account also ends every message we send you — email, SMS and push — and revokes our access to the Google or Apple account you signed in with.

What we may keep, and why

A small amount of information is kept after deletion, only where the law or our data licence requires it:

• MLS compliance records. Our agreements with Bright MLS require us to keep an auditable record of listing data access for the period those boards set, so they can verify our use of their data.
• Records required by law. Real estate, tax, anti-fraud and record-keeping obligations can require us to retain a transaction or contact record for the period the applicable law sets.
• Your opt-out. If you asked us to stop contacting you, we keep a minimal record of that request so we do not contact you again by mistake.

Nothing retained for these reasons is used to market to you, and it is deleted once the required period ends.

How long it takes

We delete your account and the associated data within 30 days of receiving your request, except for the records described above. We email you to confirm when it is done.
